Lunchtime Boredom Buster in Regent’s Park!

Anyone else struggling with the dreaded “I’m bored” refrain during the school holidays? Fear not, fellow parents! I stumbled upon a fantastic activity that turned a so-so lunchtime walk in Regent’s Park into an afternoon adventure.

While meandering around the park with my crew, we came across a brilliant little trail starting at Clarence Gate, just a hop, skip, and a jump from Baker Street station.

Here’s the deal: it’s an activity trail, and it’s all about keeping those little eyes peeled for mice! Yep, there are mouse pictures hidden along the route, and each one has a QR code. Scan the code with your phone, and it whisks you away to a fun activity – perfect for breaking up the walk and adding a little excitement.

We did manage to complete the entire trail during my lunch break which is 1hr long. Plus, there’s the added bonus of entering a competition to win a prize once you’ve finished – result!

I’m not sure how long this trail will be around, so I’d recommend checking it out sooner rather than later. In the meantime, pack a picnic, lace up your walking shoes, and get ready to banish those holiday blues (or at least for a blissful afternoon)!
